Continuing roadworks along the coast road are the subject of the following (translated) announcement by the Department of Public Works:-
The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, Department of Public Works, Office of the District Engineer of Larnaca, announces that, on Saturday, March 22, 2025 and Sunday, March 23, 2025, between the hours of 7:00 — 17:00, on the Mazotos — Zygi road, on a bridge before the exit to Maroni (direction to Zygi) in the Larnaca District, bridge maintenance works will be carried out. During the works, both lanes of traffic along the bridge will be closed and traffic will be diverted via adjacent roads.
The Department of Public Works apologizes for the inevitable inconvenience that will be caused and calls on the public to show the necessary understanding and comply with the temporary road markings and the instructions of the Police.
