‘Tis the season for…all sorts of Christmas events. We hope to keep you informed of locally based Christmas Fairs, Markets and Celebrations.
The first on our list is a special event organised by the Association of Parents of our local primary school and of the kindergarten and the Maroni Athletic Association.
Attractions include the choir of the children from the elementary school and dances form the dancing school ‘Athanasia’. As well as illuminating the Christmas tree there will be a visit from Father Christmas.
There will be a display of handicrafts and drinks, food and sweet treats will be sold in the area.
Mark your diary for this coming Sunday. 10th December from 15:00 to 20:00 at the Tasos Mitsopoulos Square (behind the church), Maroni.
