With effect from Monday 10th May 2021 new restrictions will apply throughout Cyprus.
The strict lockdown we have experienced recently will be relaxed considerably. An end to the SMS/form B for leaving home is one aspect that will be welcome to many, although the curfew remains from 11pm until 5 am. Hotels, gyms and various other venues will reopen, although it will be necessary to present a ‘Coronapass’ at many of these. Exceptions to the Coronapass include supermarkets, bakeries, butchers, fishmongers, fruit & veg shops, kiosks, pharmacies and beaches. See below for the official Pres and Information Office statement, followed by a Q&A published by the Cyprus Mail on 6th May 2021
