A protest is to take place tomorrow, Saturday 10th April, at 10:00 am at the Zygi/Kalavassos roundabout (Oktagono) concerning the plan to move the asphalt factories to our area.
A motorcade will start from Maroni Community Office at 09:50am and the whole protest will last half an hour.
The following is a translation of the message from Lefteris Fokas, Chairman of the Coordination Committee of the Nine Communities of the Vasiliko Region:
“The Nine Communities Coordination Committee of the Vasilikos Area calls on all residents to a Dynamic Protest to abort the Government’s decision to move the Asphalt Factories to our area.
The Protest will take place 10/04/2021 on Saturday at 10.00 am at Kalavasos roundabout. Due to the Pandemic Measures, the Protest will take place with cars and all safety measures (Masks) will be taken.
Together we can abort any decision that endangers the health and safety of us and our children.”
