October 1st is a public holiday – Cyprus National Day, so be aware that many banks and businesses will be closed and others will have reduced working hours.
Maroni village butcher, Theonitsa, had planned the 3rd annual coffee afternoon in aid of local charities for 4th October. Unfortunately, due to meetings restrictions, she has had to cancel the meeting. Raffle tickets are available, however, for €2 each, from Theonitsa’s shop.
Do try to support the admiral causes, including ‘ Ενα Ονειρο Μια Ευχη‘ and ‘Ευ ζω‘ again this year.
We have an update on the Citizens Centre in Lefkara. It is still situated at the Post Office, but both have now relocated and are now in the same building as the village office. This is not too far from the original site in Lefkara. The Citizen Centre now has its own telephone number:24342448.Operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm.
