To keep the public entertained during the lockdown, Lloyd Webber has made a selection of his most well-known musicals available to watch free of charge on YouTube.
Announcing the news in a recorded video message, the composer said: Universal has come up with the idea of a whole series called The Show Must Go On which is about musicals going from stage to screen. Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Official Announcement
The first show Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat was made available on Friday 3rd April at 7.00pm GMT on you tube, the shows are available for viewing for 48 hours. The second show scheduled for Friday 10th April is Jesus Christ Superstar.
