On the evening of the 30th September blood donations will take place for those who wish or are able to donate in the village square. This will be held in memory of the late Father Gregory and Despina Andreou. Food will later be provided for all those donating blood.
A theatre group from Larnaca will be putting on a performance on the 6th September in the square, further details will be available nearer the date.
The government has agreed with the transfer of what was the village co-op bank to the village to be used as the new community office, they are hoping the paper work and transfers will be completed by the end of 2019.
The village is planning to build a community hall behind Yiotas nursery school. Plans are in the process of being drawn up with an architect.
The land behind Maria’s supermarket that now has the recycling bins on it will soon be turned into a car park.
