Banks and other entities in Cyprus have been withholding contributions from interest and dividends from 1st March of this year and other contributions will be collected through the Tax Department or National Insurance, as appropriate.
We would remind you that the law requires all residents in Cyprus to file a tax return, even if their income falls below the threshold for payment of Income Tax, or if tax is paid overseas.
